Lambog is a music publishing company established in 2016 and owned by musician/songwriter/producer Joaquin Solórzano.
Joaquin Solórzano is a San Francisco, CA musician who's life has lead him to realize that his true calling is to honor and serve God. He is one of the bass players at 3 Crosses Church aka Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley, CA. In Joaquin's words, "Though early in my life I've not always realized it, through my ups and downs, my joys, trials and heartache, my consistent has been Jesus. He has seen me through situations that I alone could never have overcome".
Joaquin was born in Managua, Nicaragua, Central America. His father Joaquin Sr., moved his family to San Francisco, CA when Joaquin was 3 years old. The San Francisco music scene was a big influence on him. He started playing music at the age of 8, and at 14 he played rhythm guitar and bass in his family band. Joaquin went on to play with some of the San Francisco Bay Area’s greatest musicians and was the bass player for the legendary Latin-rock band MALO from 1986 – 1994. He has toured extensively and has shared the stage with such acts as Santana, Eddie Palmieri, The Neville Brothers, Tower of Power, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E, and Jefferson Starship among others.
He is currently working on a recording project compiled of faith-based spirit driven songs he has written which include Grammy award winning singers Tony Lindsay of Santana, and Samuelle Prater of Club Noveau. Another featured singer is Tammi Brown who is one of the greatest female vocalist in the Bay Area. Also featured is Grammy winning arranger Mike Rinta of Pacific Mambo Orchestra.
Lambog was created to honor God and bring awareness to social issues through music, film and advocacy, in particular a focus on mental illness.
